I am an education leader, curriculum strategist, and technical innovator with nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of technology, media, and workforce training. My career has been defined by building programs that open doors — helping learners of all backgrounds gain the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to succeed in rapidly evolving industries.
I began my career in audio engineering and live production, working with world-class creative organizations like Blue Man Group, where I managed complex live sound systems and mentored emerging technicians. That foundation in technical precision, teamwork, and creativity shaped the way I approach education today: blending real-world expertise with learner-centered design.
For more than a decade as Director of Education at F.I.R.S.T. Institute, I oversaw accredited programs in media, technology, and audio production. I directed curriculum development, faculty mentorship, and institutional compliance with ACCET (Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training) standards, while partnering with employers to ensure graduates were job-ready. Today, as Technical Programs Manager at The CoiL Learning Center, I continue this mission on a global scale — designing innovative programs, building university and industry partnerships, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver training that bridges the gap between talent and opportunity.
My expertise spans curriculum design, adult learning theory, program development, instructional technology, and leadership development. I’ve developed learning solutions that range from immersive hands-on labs to engaging asynchronous trainings, always grounded in the belief that education should be accessible, inclusive, and transformative.
I also hold multiple industry certifications that reinforce my commitment to technical excellence and safe, scalable program delivery, including:
OSHA Authorized Trainer
Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
Novastar Certified Operator
Millumin Certified Operator
Analog Way LivePremier Level 1
Dante Level 2 Audio Networking
Beyond curriculum and program management, I am passionate about mentorship and equity in education. I believe that when people are given the right tools, guidance, and encouragement, they not only build careers but also strengthen their communities.
When I’m not designing programs or managing technical initiatives, you’ll find me exploring the latest innovations in sound, media, and learning technology — always searching for new ways to connect knowledge with opportunity.
